Protect your gear with waterproof cases

The OverBoard Waterproof Gadget Cases are the perfect thing to pack with you if you’re planning on spending any of your vacation time out on the water. While a boating trip is a great time to take pictures, you don’t want to drop it over the side, never to be seen again. When sealed, they’re completely waterproof and the even float if you drop them so you can hop in and retrieve it (or use a pole of some sort).
You can actually use your gadgets while they’re safely sealed up too - if you put your camera in its case you can take it down as far as 19 feet underwater. They won’t be the clearest pictures ever, but you’ll still be able to get some pretty neat shots of yourself snorkeling.
All the cases allow you to continue to use your gadgets even while sealed up and they’ll protect you from the utter despair of seeing your precious camera with all your vacation photos sink below the surface of the lake you’re kayaking on. You can pick them up at ThinkGeek and they cost between $24.99 and $39.99 depending on the size.

It certainly is a good idea to keep your equipement somehow protected against water when sailing, kayaking not to mention rafting. I particularly like the idea of taking some shots while snorkeling.

Cool. Very cool. It must be mine!
Not that I go boating all that often (read=NEVER) but it’s a neat idea.
Perhaps for the scuba diving I do(n’t). Or not. Perhaps I’ll just be extra prepared for when I drop something in the pool at the next Motel 6 I stay at. Yes, that is actually possible.
