Protect your circulation
It’s not news that prolonged seating on airplanes can be dangerous if you’re prone to poor circulation and can cause very serious clots. It’s often suggested that you get up and walk around if possible, as well as following some simple exercises to promote healthy circulation (you can check with your doctor for some ideas).
I found these interesting socks though - Circulation-Enhancing Argyle Travel Socks. They’re designed in such a way that they allow for gradual compression while you wear them which helps to stimulate the blood flow in your legs and feet. They’re intended to ease the discomfort of any long travel time whether it’s on a plane, train, or even a car.
They’re completely machine-washable and keep their shape and elasticity. They aren’t cheap at almost $30 a pair, but if they prevent leg pain - or worse - they could be well worth the cash.

That’s really cool! I have a friend that travels a lot and is susceptible to those types of problems, maybe I’ll look into getting him a pair for Christmas.
