Portable Hotspot
What’s annoying? Sitting down with your laptop in some random city, setting yourself up to send an important email, and you realize there are no WiFi Hotspots anywhere within range. Frustrating. What’s the point of a mobile world if you can’t get a decent connection?

Your WiFi will follow you everywhere giving you great secure access from broadband-enabled phones and modems. So I can see how this could be usable in a westernized country with good cell reception, but what about when you’re in truly the middle of nowhere? Unfortunately I don’t think that it would solve the problem there. Thanks for the interesting post though.

Kango - You’re right, it definitely wouldn’t work in the middle of nowhere. You would have to be somewhere that would be able to actually have a decent connection, but if you’re in a major city at least it would help prevent having to run around, trying to find a reliable Hotspot!
