Play Guitar Hero on the Road

by Sherry on February 17th, 2008

Say you have a long road trip ahead of you. Or maybe you’re flying but you don’t want to lug your whole game system to the hotel with you. Yet, you happen to be a Guitar Hero addict. Perhaps you aren’t but you have some kids who are and you’re dreading the old, “are we there yet? ARE WE THERE YET?” monotony from the back seat.

Now you can get a totally portable and miniature Guitar Hero Carabiner from Basic Fun Not only is it tiny anyway, the neck folds up making it practically pocket-sized. To keep with the portable theme, instead of a whammy bar, you get a, er, whammy button, but you get all your favorites from Guitar Hero I and II, like Cherry Pie, Message in a Bottle, Smoke on the Water, and more.

Best of all? It’s only going to cost about $14.99 and by March you’ll be able to pick one up at a variety of stores that normally carry video games, such as Target, Toys R Us, and other similar stores.

I may have to pick up one of these for myself. I may not travel much but I can rock out while I wait to pick up my daughter from school!
