Gustbuster Umbrella

by Sherry on April 27th, 2008

Now this is what I call brilliant, because I still remember countless times that I watched in despair as my umbrella flipped inside out, breaking and leaving me drenched. The Gustbuster Umbrella is designed with a double canopy that allows the wind to blast through without flipping inside out.

We all want beautiful weather on our vacations, of course, but sometimes that’s not possible so packing an umbrella in your suitcase isn’t a bad idea, especially if you’re traveling to an area that is prone to rain or if you’re going somewhere during a destination’s rainy season.

Sherry, I know exactly what you are talking about. I live in a windy region and gusts regularly destroy my umbrellas which I find highly annoying. Thanx for the news.

Thanks for the interesting highlight- I’ve lost more than one umbrella to this (living in Southern California the umbrellas are really a joke) and this looks like a cool invention.

Although I must say, I read the post the first two times trying to figure out why it was a “Ghostbuster Umbrella” .
