Flight Tracker keeps you up to date on flight status
Anyone who has a plane to catch or a traveler to pick up at the airport goes there with the hopes that everything in transit is just as smooth and accurate as what’s on paper. However, it’s not unusual to have weather delays, technical problems, or unaligned planets (just kidding!) throw off your flight’s departure or arrival time.
Many airports now have their own tracking devices on their website; when my husband had to travel to Texas several years ago, I obsessively watched his flight progress both ways, and also logged in to Chicago O’Hare’s site for his connection flight info. We do the same when his parents travel (at least once or twice per year).
However, FlightStats can track all your flight into in one place and can then send you detailed info either via email or SMS, which is especially handy if you aren’t home at your computer. Getting set up takes little time, requiring you to activate a free account for yourself and then enter in all your flight numbers. From there you’ll be kept up to day about any delays that might pop up so that you can plan accordingly.
Very handy!
