Find Wi-Fi with your shirt
This may seem like a silly travel gadget, but bear with me - ThinkGeek, one of my favorite places to drool, has an awesome t-shirt that will help you locate Wi-Fi and tell you the status on the signal.

Why is this useful to a traveler? Most people traveling on business and many traveling for pleasure bring along their laptop when they go. If you already know of some places offering up free Wi-Fi, that’s great but no one wants to sit in a cafe, open their laptop to check their mail and THEN find out there’s no signal anywhere around or that the only Wi-Fi has a really weak signal.
The t-shirt actually glows to show the signal strength bars for any Wi-Fi in the area. It changes dynamically depending on what’s around you at any given moment. If you do wear it, don’t be surprised if you see everyone around you whipping out their laptops.
The animated decal is actually removable thanks to hook and loop fasteners, so washing the shirt is not a big deal, and it runs off of three AAA batteries in a hidden battery pack located in a small pocket inside the shirt. You can get yours before your next trip for $29.99.
Tell me the truth - would you wear this shirt? Because I most definitely would! Then again, I nearly exploded with joy when I saw their Pong t-shirt so that’s not much of a surprise is it?

I’m not sure that I’d wear this, but the concept is pretty cool. Maybe I could just pack it in my bag and whip it out when I wanted to check signal strength.
