Don’t go over your limit

by Sherry on January 23rd, 2008

Here’s a simple way to avoid getting charged for going over the allowed weight for luggage. This little travel gauge scale is handheld and can weigh up to 75 lbs. When you’re done packing for your vacation or business trip, you can just quickly use the scale to make sure you’re within regulations.

Obviously you could try your bathroom scale but this would probably be much more accurate since a suitcase is bigger than the surface of a bathroom scale, and wobbling could throw the reading off.

The gauge also features a 39″ measuring tape so that once you’re sure your bags aren’t too heavy, you can check to make sure they meet dimension regulations as well.

It’s also small enough that you can toss it in your bag when you go, so that you can weigh your bag before coming home to make sure all your souvenirs didn’t put you over the limit!

You can get one right here for only $14.98 - which is probably a lot cheaper than a surplus charge.
