Here’s something I had never heard of before. We all know the most common reason for someone to take Viagra, and it’s got nothing to do with airplane travel. But apparently, there’s been a little bit of buzz about how Viagra, besides its obvious use, can help treat jet lag in travelers.

Azerbaijan is not a country that is usually top on the list for people desperately wanting a vacation, but they’re working on a concept hotel that may draw attention and interest. Although it’s designed in such a way that it changes appearance depending on the angle, from the front it looks remarkably like the Death Star from Star Wars, and I have to say that if I did end up needing to travel there for some reason, I would totally want to stay in the Death Star hotel!

Here’s an interesting concept. The Sheraton Waikiki has installed a fun new feature in their lobby – a virtual surf simulator. If you can’t swim, are afraid deep water, or just find you can’t even stand up on a board in the waves, you can still surf with the best of them. Sort of.
You can stand on the totally grounded surfboard, which will then mimic some of the motions of surfing, while you watch the “waves” in front of you on a screen.

At first glance, this is one of the strangest “gadgets” I have ever seen or heard of – the AIR is a bubble that will use your olfactory memory to remind you of different cities. Hilda Kozari created three bubbles that replicate the smells of Helsinki, Budapest, and Paris.
