Bring your live music on vacation with a mini amp

by Sherry on May 18th, 2008

Something you may not know about me is that I’m surrounded by music. And I don’t mean that in the sense that I use my mp3 player a lot - my husband is a musician and producer so music is pretty much life around here. When we go away somewhere, it’s really not unusual at all to pack up the trunk of our car not only with suitcases but with music gear.

Orange

While a formal bar gig might call for a huge amp, this Orange Micro Crush Mini Amp would be perfect for us to pack in the car when we’re going away for a weekend with friends and want to have a little jam session in the evening wherever we are. It’s small enough that it won’t take up too much room in the trunk (still plenty of space for me to bring my camera gear to take plenty of pictures of the music session in action!) but sound isn’t sacrificed.

What’s nice is that it runs off a 9-V battery. That means you could even bring it to a campground to play a bit of guitar (though I would urge you to avoid playing at top volume out of respect for other campers!).

If you can’t live without your guitar, an Orange Micro Crush Mini Amp is the way to go, and you can pick one up for $58.98 - a total steal!
