Boopsie
Boopsie may sound like the name of a cute little doll, or bring up thoughts of Betty Boop, but actually, Boopsie is a neat little program you can download to your cell phone or other mobile device and you can then find tons of information on just about anything. Travel-wise, you can use it to check for flight information (why rush to the airport if your flight is delayed?), check out the weather for whatever city you’re heading to, look up phone numbers, and find everything from restaurants to movie times. It’s an all in one search extravaganza!
Bonus? It’s totally free to download and use. You can’t beat that!
I, alas, don’t have a mobile or a cell phone. Well, that’s not entirely true. I do have a nice little cell phone but I never used it so it needs to be re-activated. The thing is, I work from home and don’t really need one. The unfortunate part of that is that I can’t test drive something like this. If any of you have used it (or decide to try it out now), I’d love to hear your personal experience!

I love Boopsie! It makes my life so much easier. Being a new Blackberry owner, I love how simple it makes my searches. Definitely download this great application!

You should get a friend to download it so you can experience it first hand, but i have it on my phone and it’s just so efficient. It is faster than doing a search on a web browser especially since you’re searching within a the category you want the information from. It has a “smart prefix” function so you don’t even have to type all the letters of your search to have the results come up. I pretty much use it for all my searches these days from the news to where i’ll eat for dinner.

I don’t have it on my phone, but a couple of my friends have it and they agree that it’s one of the most useful programs they’ve got. One of them is on the move a lot and loves to extol its virtues constantly.

boopsie is seriously the fastest way to search using my phone. has saved me so much time scrolling through google. totally worth it.
