Beach and pool friendly photos
If you’re heading to a beach resort on your travels or even just want to go hang out by the hotel pool, you’ll probably want to take a lot of pictures while you’re there. The Olympus Stylus 7750SW is a great 7.1 MP camera to bring with you if you’re going to be near - or even in - the water.
It’s not only shockproof (up to a 5 foot drop) it’s also waterproof to a depth of 33 feet. That means that you can jump straight in and get some awesome photos of your kids dog paddling around the pool or some coral and fish if you’re doing some snorkeling.
As a bonus, the camera is also freeze-proof to -10 degrees (Celsius) so if you’re Canadian like I am, your camera can carry you into winter as well, and it’s crush-proof. I’m not sure what you might be doing in your travels that would make you require a crush-proof camera, but it’s still cool!
Some other specs include a digital image stabilizer to avoid blurry photos even if there’s motion, 27 shooting modes, movie clips with audio, and it has a large 2.5″ LCD.
At a general price tag of $380, it’s not a bad price at all for such a nifty camera, and Olumpus is a fabulous brand.

It sounds perfect for taking photos while sky-diving! Crush proof: very useful, depending on how you land! Image stabilizer: also useful while you’re hurling toward Earth! Freeze proof: well you get the picture! (Lol, no pun intended!)
