Backup Your Photos With Picture Porter

Like any self-respecting nerd, I take my laptop when traveling. However, there are those who might not want to bring $2000 worth of electronics when, say, trekking through the Columbian jungle. If you just need somewhere to store your photos, why not bring $400 worth instead?

Digital Foci has announced the availability of Picture Porter - a portable digital photo album with 20/40 GB hard drive and multi-format card reader. Now you can safely transfer all your photos and videos onto Picture Porter without having to lug around a bulky laptop. It can easily be pocketed (at 5.2″ (L) x 2.8″ (W) x 1.2″ (H), the dimensions are pretty sleek)

As the photo illustrates, it accepts any quite of card and supports USB 2.0. However, at 5 inches long and 3 inches wide, there’s no way it’s frickin’ ‘easily pocketed’. Pocketed in a fat man’s cargo pants, maybe…
