Airports offering free Wi-Fi

by Sherry on January 12th, 2008

Free Wi-Fi in airports worldwide Here’s a handy site to check before you travel - if you’re going to have some long layover time or just expect to sit around in an airport for awhile, waiting for someone to pick you up (such as the time I got into the airport at 5 am but my dad was only willing to come and get me at 8:30, yargh!) it would be useful to check if they have any free Wi-Fi so you can pass the time by checking your mail or using your laptop to browse your favorite blogs. This site offers a regularly updated listing of which airports currently offer free Wi-Fi.

The list is pretty impressive, but you would think there would be even more. My own local airport apparently does not have any, phooey! Does yours?
