More and more people are using Skype for phone calls and you can choose from all kinds of landline phones or wifi to use the service, but the 3 Skypephone is made especially for Skype, the first of its kind. You can use it to save a ton of money on Skype-to-Skype phone calls and can be used on a prepaid calling plan. The phone itself sells for about 50 pounds, and supports web browsing as well as many of the standard cell phone features. It’s currently only available in the UK, but if it works out well, it could be available in North America down the line. And regardless, you know that other companies in North America will be thinking it’s a good idea and working on one of their own as well.
This will yet another great gadget to help travelers stay in touch without spending a fortune.
