Book your travel with Green in mind
While traveling can be enjoyable (for vacations) or a necessity (for work), a common concern is that it’s not always very environmentally friendly. The environment is a hot topic for many people, as it should be, and it’s a heavy issue in both the American and Canadian election campaigns. So what do you do if you’re booking a getaway but don’t want to contribute to the heavy weight on our planet?
Check out the Whole Travel website – it lets you search for airlines and hotels that are known for practicing sustainable travel options. The site will help you to plan a trip that is as environmentally friendly as possible. At the same time, you can upload and look through travel photos that users have posted of their own green travel trips. Some of the photos are mind-blowing and will certainly inspire you to make the extra effort to book an environmentally responsible trip.
The site is still in beta mode, so it may not be perfected yet, but it’s worth checking out!
