Get the best parking spot before you fly
Whenever I’ve gone on a vacation I’ve always gotten someone – my father, a friend – to drive me to the airport so I’ve never had to worry about the incredibly over-inflated prices of parking lots at the airport. If you don’t have anyone in the area who can take you, or if no one is willing to take you there in time for your 4 a.m. flight, there’s still another option.
About Parking will help you find your way to the best price for parking within reasonable distance from your airport. All you need to do is use their Google Maps mash-up to enter in the airport you’re using and the departure & return dates. It will give you a listing and map of all the parking lots in that area and you can even specify it to search for extra options, like covered garages and valet services.
While you’re there, you can even check for comments left by others who have used the lots to make sure you’re not picking the lot that offers a great price but loses everyone’s keys.
