Now this is the most brilliant thing I’ve ever heard of, and very useful for frequent travelers! If you get yourself The Clear Card, you can essentially wave in mockery at everyone in line for security while you waltz straight past them and get on your flight – no waiting.

How is this possible?

You apply for The Clear Card online, then you present yourself with with two forms of ID (birth certificate, driver’s license, etc) at an enrollment center, and then you submit – seriously – biometric data. Everything is loaded straight onto the card.

When you arrive at the airport, you go straight to a specially appointed kiosk, stick your card in, and head right on through. You still have to pass through an X-Ray and metal detector, but no big line up.

It’s not cheap, you’ll have to pay $100 a year for it, but it’s worth it in the end if you’re flying out on business every week or two. Right now it’s only available in approximately 20 US airports but it will likely expand soon.
