Seems I read something in the paper about it a few months ago. I usually hold business meetings in the Second Cup across the street from where I live. I can hit my Wi-Fi from there (secured, of course). Patricia Montreal

I think there is place like that in Montreal up St Laurent. Not only is it a great alternative office environment but it's fast becoming a "Third Place" (a community center). I wrote about this here: http://tinyurl.com/6ddcsg For instance, on Monday I'm holding an event that's one-part premier party and one-part panel on Entertainment and the Internet.

Sherry,
I work at Blankspaces all the time! A lot of people who work out of the office get addicted to the variety on offer when choosing different locations to work in. And as far as data facilities go, technology for laptops (such as the Marconi routers for ADSL anywhere, without cables) is set to make remote-working as technology-effective as an office. However, yes - for looking professional, and hosting meetings, interviews, conferences and larger events - this is ideal!

It’s a nice idea……if you’re happy about working in a Corporate environment in the first place.
