Splash-proof radio cranks up

Wind-up Splash-proof radio

Here’s another great gadget to have on hand when you’re going camping – a splash proof radio that you wind up. There’s no need to plug it in or remember to bring the right batteries with the hand crank. Because it’s resistant to splashing, it doesn’t matter if it’s raining or if you put it on the dock while you’re swimming. Not only can it provide you with a big of music around the campfire (if you’re not the type to bring an acoustic guitar), it can come in handy for storm watches.

It works for a full hour after winding, works on AM and FM frequencies, and has a built-in LED flashlight which is a nice little bonus feature. Also, it has a phone charger, so it’s basically a very nifty all-in-one radio convenience.

If you feel like you might be too tired to crank it up, it can use three AA batteries as well, but really, it only takes a minute to wind it up, I’m sure you can manage!

I have something very similar to this and as a sports nut that finds himself in wooded areas quite often, it has been a faithful companion for awhile!
