Keep drinks cool and the music hot
Warmer weather is coming right? I hope so because up here in Montreal we’re still buried in snow. I walked to the store today and there are snow banks higher than I am at 5′4″. But they SAY it will eventually turn to Spring, and then Summer, and that means traveling to the beach and camping.
Here’s a nifty way to celebrate the arrival of Summer when it gets here: Pack your beer in this Chill Out Stereo Cooler Bag. No, you didn’t mis-read that. Stereo. Once your eight 12 oz beer cans (or whatever frosty beverage you’d like to bring) are in the cooler staying, well, cool you can then listen to music because the bag doubles as a stereo with speakers that will allow you to play your iPod, MP3 player or a CD player.
The speakers are waterproof which is handy and reassuring and it requires four AA batteries.
You can buy it from DormBuys which is pretty fitting, yes? It’s regularly $57.99 but they’re selling it for $47.99 in a variety of prints (I’m partial to the “James Dean”).

My roommate actually had one of those! We didn’t use it very often, just because we didn’t do much camping. However, the few times we DID use it, it was definitely a conversation piece.
What a great travel bag! Never ever seen anyting like it around here! Great for hiking and camping.
