Pedometer can log your miles
I found this great post over at Fly Away Cafe, showing what would be a cute little gift to give to a person who travels frequently – or get one for yourself! It’s a tiny little pedometer, no bigger than a credit card, which makes it convenient to carry with you. It would be fun, I think, to let someone see how many steps and miles they clock in while they’re traveling. After all, although we can use public transit and taxis or rentals, I figure that most of the time we’re on vacation we tend to walk. You’ll walk the beach, walk through market areas, walk around tourist attractions, step, step, step. I wish I had taken one of these to Cancun because I’m pretty sure I walked more in that one week than I did in the year leading up to my trip.
