For many of us, vacation time means relaxing and taking it easy so a simple point and shoot camera will usually suffice. If you plan to spend a lot of time at the beach or want photos of yourself with dolphins, a waterproof camera could come in handy.

But if you’re the type of traveler who enjoys rugged, adventurous, daring vacations, you might be interested in the Waterproof Digital Wrist Camera by Hero 3. The strap adjusts to your wrist and the camera is protected by a waterproof exterior that can stand up to some heavy duty action. That means if you feel like climbing up the side of a mountain, doing some downhill skiing in Aspen, or even diving (up to 100 feet), you can use this camera to capture the moment. The camera pivotes for various angles and even takes 30 fps movies. Surprisingly, it’s a 3 mp camera, so the quality is pretty good for something so small and unique, and it also has a self-timer, dual shutter buttons for different camera orientation, and accepts SD cards.
