How to joke around with security at the airport

xraybags

I love ThinkGeek and this bag is fairly amusing in that “let me mock you” way. This tote bag is made of a fabric that is basically a space-age woven fiber. When you put items into the bag, they show through in a manner that makes them look like they’re currently being scanned by a security x-ray.

There’s nothing really wrong with the bag, it’s not concealing anything and it doesn’t interfere with the actual x-ray. I think most people would either find it funny or at worst, really weird. On the other hand, it might annoy someone at security if they’re having a bad day, but I don’t think it would cause any actual problems.

Of course, anyone using this bag should remember that anything that is put inside will be visible to everyone else, so you might want to put any, uh, “toys” that are for the 18 and older crowd into your checked luggage!

    Oh jeez, sorry Bettie. It’s at thinkgeek.com – I can’t believe I didn’t link it!
