Cool hat – literally!
Over at The Las Vegas Adventurer , there was some discussion about how people seem to flock to Vegas even in the worst heat spells, apparently oblivious to how hot it is.
Maybe what all these Vegas fans need is one of these:
Sure, it’s not the most stylish hat ever, and guaranteed you’ll look kind of dorky wearing it, but the solar powered device powers up a fan that will keep your head cool when the sun is blazing down upon you. If it’s a hot night with no solar power, just use two AA batteries to keep the fan going.
The straw is weather resistant, so it won’t get ruined. It will run you about $50 to pick one up.
What do you think? If it was hot enough would you trade style for comfort and wear this hat?

Hee! That is too funny! I could see wearing it while doing the lawns or gardening but I’d probably think twice about wearing it in public (though on the Strip I don’t think anyone would look at you twice!)
