The B5Media network:

Keep track of your flight miles

Over at Fly Away Cafe I learned about a neat website called Flight Memory. You register and log in and enter in any travel data that you have on hand. All it requires is the city’s airport codes – if you don’t know them, they’re printed on your tickets but you can also look them up easily online (I still remember a startling number of them from my Travel and Tourism courses over six years ago).

You can keep track of other details like dates, times, flight info such as your seating and what class you flew, as well as what your purpose was (business or vacation travel). In the end, it will tally up how many flights you’ve taken and how many miles your travel totaled. Kind of nifty! If you travel a lot on business, it would be interesting to see how far you’ve flown in any given time period.

After my flying this week, I’m up to just a little over 15,500 miles so far for August!
