I have been through airport security with a leather shoulder holster called a TekHolster I got at techholster.net and no one even stopped me.

After losing 2 phones down a catch basin (I do IT work for a construction company), I needed something to hold an iPhone and my personal cell at the same time. I forget I am wearing it and have not lost a phone since.

Plus, it keeps them from hitting each other. Snug fit or the phones, comfortable to me.

I've got something very similar which I use on a daily basis to carry my PDA, cell phone and Blue Tooth earpiece. I wear under my suit jacket and its perfect - to carry my gadgets without spoiling the look of my suit or the lining of the pockets.
I have to admit though, I do sometimes get people doing a double-take or just staring if I walk around with my jacket off - but hey who cares what people think...?!!! You gotta be comfortable with the look and you gotta appreciate the practicality of it.

I think it lloks like a great tool while siteseeing, I might be a bit hesitant to wear that going through airport security. It looks too much like a pistol holster.
