High Tech Backpacking
Usually when you get the urge to go backpacking, you probably feel like you’d like to get away from it all. Sometimes though, it’s hard to separate the traveler from the gadgetry. I know I, for example, can not leave my front door without my digital camera unless the furthest I’m going is the garbage bin (and even then I’ve been known to take it anyway to get a nice sunset shot). If you’re like me, you might want to take your camera with you to capture breathtaking shots on the trail. If you also have a laptop, you might want to bring it along too, along with whatever else is close to your heart – your iPod, your Blackberry, whatever floats your boat.
